JULY 2009
Nonprofit approval! CFCE received the long anticipated letter from the IRS approving us as a 501(C)3 nonprofit organization.
FEBRUARY 2010
CFCE welcomed a very special conductor-teacher, Bea Silling for the month of February. The children and parents were all thrilled and fortunate to have her come and share her wonderful enthusiasm and incredible experience. Bea has taught Conductive Education for many years all over the world. Many of the children made remarkable advances in just the short 4 weeks. One such child achieved a self-hygeine goal that is a huge step toward her independence. She couldn't stop smiling and talking about her accomplishment.
APRIL 2010
CFCE welcomed another special Conductor-teacher, Pearl, to our program for April 2010. Our wonderful thanks to Pearl for a great month of classes!! Carlyn shouted for joy as she began taking her first steps with her walker without help!! Way to go Carlyn!! Huge praises to Pearl for making this happen for Carlyn!! More to follow later with pictures, etc.....
JUNE 2010
Our full-time Conductor-teacher, Sevi, started teaching on June 23rd. Sevi began his first week with Pearl, Jennifer and the Class Assistants. Welcome Sevi - We are all excited you are part of the team!!
JULY 2010
CFCE's 1st Annual Golf Tournament/Silent Auction/Dinner held on July 1, 2010 at the Inverness Golf Club, 200 Inverness Drive, Englewood, Colorado was an amazing success thanks to the tournament committee's hard work. The golfers enjoyed a beautiful day of 18 holes of golf. Immediately following the golf tournament, all guests, golfers and non-golfers, had fun bidding on some wonderful silent auction items; the dinner buffet brought raves from the guests. July Summer Camp!! Classes begin on July 5th and end on July 30th, Monday thru Friday from 9am until 2pm. The parents love these camps because they are able to see their child make significant progress due to the intensive nature of the camps.
